Language Trap
Welcome to Language Trap, an interactive language learning game for Leaving Certificate German Students. The Language Trap game presents an innovative approach to language learning using sythesised speech dialogues combined with a state of the art learning personalisation system.

The Language Trap game has been awarded the European Language Label award for 2010. The award recognises projects that use innovative techniques for language learning. The award was presented on the 27th September as a ceremony hosted at NUI Maynooth. Further details about the award are available on the CNGL Website.
The prototype of the Language Trap game is freely available to play within the Republic of Ireland. Click on the link below to start playing.
The Language Trap game has been developed as part of the Education & Outreach programme of the Centre for Next Generation Localisation. The research supporting the Language Trap game is the work of the Knowledge and Data Engineering Group (KDEG) in the School of Computer Science and Statistics.
